Title:
Trees Online Preferences Survey: Top Ten of 100 Roadside Tree Species in Hong Kong
Objectives:
To find the top ten most preferred roadside tree species and bottom ten least preferred species in Hong Kong in the eyes of tree workers, managers, practitioners and concerned stake-holders.
Instructions:
100 common roadside tree species have been listed below in 5 groups of 20 species in each group. Each tree species is shown by a thumbnail photo.
If you move the mouse over the thumbnail, a big picture of the species will pop up for you to examine. Based on your experience and understanding of these 100 tree species, and considering their potential as roadside trees for Hong Kong, please carefully browse through these tree species from 1 to 100 and then :
select a total of 10 roadside trees you would like to recommend for Hong Kong roadsides by ticking the YES buttons,
select a total of 10 roadside trees that you do not recommend at all for Hong Kong roadsides by ticking the NO buttons,
pick at least one from each of the 5 groups. The system only allows up to 10 YES choices (recommended) and 10 NO choices (not recommended)
push the "Reset" button if you change your mind about the tree you have chosen and would like to choose again. A gentle reminder will appear and tell you if you have chosen more than 10 species.
